What does every old man say?
“When I was a kid…”
And then you can choose:
- People behaved better.
- Things were cheaper.
- Music was better.
So before I say what I’m about to say, I just want you to know, I’m NOT an old man — I’m only 52 — however….
WHEN I WAS A KID LAST CENTURY
Things do change.
That’s an accurate statement.
And one thing that changes is values. (310)
So in my opinion, past generations valued beauty more than they do today.
Here’s why I thought of this…

And here’s what I saw on the sixth floor, built in the 1990s:

Which do you think is more beautiful?
Do you have examples from your town or city?
Or am I dead wrong?
Tell me!

I do agree so much! And this likely is the reason why I love my apartment more than I should because of the original old wooden floor, same is true in the hallway. So lovely, and just so warm, inviting to walk barefoot all the time.
I’m happy to write to you, my friend teacher again after longtime! Well, I like more the newer material at the steps. In this occasion. Generally speaking, I prefer vintage style (I’m talking about my city…). Love and Merry Xmas!
It’s no doubt the beauty of the past artworks, the paintings, sculptures and building’s architecture were moreover this the nowadays beauty.Let’s count only The Ancient period or The Rebirth with their huge, titanic artists and artworks…But, I don’t know why , in the past times.there was a kinda different perception of the time…why??
The most important thing is that they fulfill their function. And beauty is all relative.
