(1) you have read, understand, and agree to be bound by these terms,
(2) you are of legal age to form a binding contract with the company and
(3) you have the authority to enter into the terms of use personally or on behalf of the company you have named as the user, and to bind that company to these terms. The term “you” refers to the individual or legal entity as applicable, identified as the user when you registered on the site. If you disagree to be bound by these terms, you may not access or use this site or the offerings.
1. Introduction
Welcome to Mr. Vig. By subscribing to our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully.
2. Monthly/Annual Membership/Subscription
2.1 Enrollment: To become an ongoing member, users must complete the registration process and provide accurate, complete information.
2.2 Acceptance: Membership/subscription is subject to acceptance by Mr. Vig.
2.3 Membership/Subscription Fees
2.3.1 Monthly/Annual Fees: Members will be charged a monthly/annual fee, as detailed on our pricing or membership page.
2.3.2 Billing Cycle: The subscription fee is billed in advance on a monthly/annual basis.
2.3a Trial Offer: Certain memberships, such as Atomic Homework, may be offered with an initial trial period (e.g., 7 days for €7). Unless canceled before the end of the trial period, the membership will automatically continue at the regular recurring price stated at signup, charged to the same payment method.
2.4 Payment Methods: We accept Bank Transfers, Stripe, PayPal, and Wise.
2.5 Cancellation Policy
2.5.1 Cancellation by Member: Members may cancel their subscription at any time. The cancellation will take effect at the end of the current billing cycle.
2.5.2 Cancellation by Mr. Vig: We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your membership if you violate these Terms and Conditions.
2.6. (No) Refund Policy
2.6.1 No Refunds: All membership recurring payments are subject to the refund policy listed below. There are no refunds or credits for partially used periods.
2.6.2. All membership payments, both monthly and annual, are eligible for refunds up to 60 days from the date of their first purchase. In this case, refunds will be processed for both payments that have happened in the first 60 days, if the customer paid for the monthly subscription. If they paid for the annual subscription, the full price of the annual subscription will be refunded.
2.6.3. After the 60 days have passed, members can request a refund on their last payment only.
2.6.4. If the customer upgraded from a monthly to an annual subscription, the 60-day money-back guarantee will be applied only to the initial monthly purchase and not the date on which the annual subscription was purchased.
2.7. Pausing Membership Policy
2.7.1 Monthly memberships are eligible for a pause at the end of their billing cycle/next charge date.
2.7.2. Annual memberships are not eligible for a pause during the period they paid for. As with monthly memberships, they can pause at the end of their billing cycle/next charge date.
2.7.3. All memberships are eligible for a maximum of a 3-month pause during a year. If they want to pause for a longer period, their subscription will be effectively canceled, and they will lose the old price. Once they resubscribe, they will pay the price that is active for all new members at that time.
2.7.4. All pause requests can only be honored from one charge cycle to another for monthly memberships. That means that if the customer bought the subscription on the first of a month, and they request to pause it, the subscription will be paused until the first of the next month or the month after that. If the customer wants partial pauses, that request will not be honored, and we will have to terminate their subscription.
2.7.5. Pause request for annual memberships can be granted with flexibility, but only up to 3 months in a single year. That means that an annual member can only use all three months in a row. It is not possible to make partial breaks.
2a. Vig Village Vacations (Student Meetups)
2a.1 Enrollment: To reserve a spot at a Vig Village Vacation (live meetup), participants must complete registration and make payment as instructed.
2a.2 Payment: Payment is made via Wise, in full, at the time of booking.
2a.3 Cancellation by Participant: Participants may cancel their reservation by contacting us at help@mrvig.com.
2a.4 Refund Policy: Cancellations made up until two weeks before the event start date (the registration deadline) are eligible for a full refund. Cancellations made after this date are not eligible for a refund.
2a.5 Cancellation by Mr. Vig: If we cancel the event for any reason, all participants will receive a full refund.
2b. Digital Products (Ebooks & Guides)
2b.1 Purchase: Digital products, such as the Atomic Word Dictionary, are sold as one-time purchases. Upon purchase, customers receive immediate access to download the digital file (e.g., PDF).
2b.2 Refund Policy: Digital products are eligible for a full refund within 60 days of purchase, no questions asked. To request a refund, contact us at help@mrvig.com.
2b.3 Amazon Purchases: Some digital products may also be available in a physical, printed edition through Amazon. Where our site links or redirects to Amazon for this purpose, the purchase, payment, shipping, and returns for that physical copy are governed entirely by Amazon’s own terms and policies, not by this Terms and Conditions document.
3. Use of Services
3.1 Permitted Use: Members are entitled to use our services in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.
3.2 Prohibited Use: Members shall not misuse the services. Any form of abuse may result in termination of membership.
4. Intellectual Property Rights
4.1 Ownership: All content on Mr. Vig is the exclusive property of Mr. Vig LLC.
4.2 Restrictions: Members may not copy, distribute, or create derivative works based on our content without explicit permission.
5. Limitation of Liability
