How We Pass The Time In Virginia

I’m back in Prague!

My flight yesterday from the U.S. was delayed a few hours because of a snow storm in New York.

Fortunately, they told me this news before I left the house.

So what did I do at home with a few extra hours?

Well, there’s not a lot to do out in the country.

My nephew was visiting.

So we decided to go for a walk.

But not a normal walk.

Rather, we went…

SKULL HUNTING

My home in Virginia is surrounded by forests and fields.

Virginia is also home to creatures like: raccoons, skunks, foxes, opossums, squirrels, deer, and even bear and coyotes.

And when they pass away, for some reason, they usually do it by a stream.

A few weeks later, after the vultures and insects are done, their bones are ready to be found.

So if you ever go skull hunting, here are my tips:

• walk along a stream
• keep your eyes down
• look for something white sticking out of the grass and dirt.
