I made it!
Last night, I arrived in Prague after a week in Italy.
As we say in English, back home safe and sound.
All in one piece.
But what about my luggage?
IN THE NICK OF TIME
In yesterday’s thrilling Atomic Homework, I was writing to you from the train.
I was on my way to the airport without a minute to spare.
I was due to arrive at Terminal 2 at 3 pm.
And the EasyJet baggage counter closed also at exactly 3pm.
Not good.
But the train arrived five minutes early.
That was good.
But for some reason the train stopped at Arrivals and I had to walk all the way to Departures.
Not good.
However, I managed to get to the baggage drop only two minutes after 3 pm.
That was good.
But the woman said the baggage counter was closed.
Not good.
However, she said she would help me.
That was good.
So in the end, my suitcase full of my new Italian clothes made it to Prague with me.
My luggage had made it just in the nick of time.
But then…
As I was walking through security I heard, “Signore! Signore!”
I turned around and saw the baggage girl running toward me.
“You left your phone on the counter.”
That was both bad and good; bad that I left it and good that she found it.
What a day.
Cheers,
Mr. Vig

Ugh, what a day! Don´t do that again. But you still have a good guardian angel watching over you.
Just in the nick of time – I like that expression.
Yes, the.story is exciting, you have a sense of dramatising and thrilling tings and…
Lucky you, they decided to help you with your luggage, phone and new italian clothes
Just in the nick of time!
Be gratefull to that kind and honest italian woman. I would have helped you too. But only with your luggage!!!! ; )
