Perseverance.
Know what it means?
Here’s a story that will make it unforgettable.
The Worst Speaker In Parliament
In 1904, a young politician stood up to speak in the British Parliament.
He started speaking.
Then, mid-sentence….
He froze.
He lost his words completely.
In front of everyone.
He stood there in silence for three minutes — then sat down and put his face in his hands.
His name was Winston Churchill.
Most people would have given up.
But Churchill chose to persevere.
He gave hundreds and hundreds of speeches…
Thirty years later, his voice stopped Hitler.
When Europe was falling apart, Churchill went on the radio and spoke. And millions of people — frightened, tired, ready to give up — heard his voice and decided to keep fighting.
The man who couldn’t finish a sentence in 1904 was able to save civilization with his words in 1940.
Because he chose not to quit; he chose to persevere.
Have a great weekend,
Mr. Vig
