My friend surprised me.
He’s not a native speaker.
But his reply was exactly what a native speaker would say.
Here’s the online conversation:
Georgi: I’m free 02-04.07.
Mr. Vig: July 2nd until the 4th? Thursday to Saturday?
Georgi: My bad, July 3rd until the 5th. Fri to Sun.
You’ve probably said, “I made a mistake.”
Or, “Sorry about that.”
But have you ever said, “My bad”?
It means the same thing.
Just a lot more informal.
Don’t use it with your boss.
But you can try it with a friend.
Have a great weekend,
Mr. Vig

Salut you!
No, I’d never use that expression.
I think it’s bad grammar!
It’s an “argo” expression. It’s out of ordinary English. The fact that a native speaker would use it doesn’t mean that is correct!
Many times native speakers use wrong expressions or wrong grammar and that is common in every language.
Of course I’m not a native speaker byt this is just what I think!
