IT’S APPEALING
Do you know the book The 4-Hour Work Week?
It’s about how the author, Tim Ferriss, quit his job, started an online business, traveled the world, and only worked four hours a week.
That idea was so appealing that millions bought the book.
I personally know at least ten men and ten women who now live a similar life — and the idea came from that book.
Obviously, the idea appealed to me, too, because that’s more or less what my life looks like.
(Except I still haven’t figured out the four-hour part…)
YOUR WORK
What appeals (or doesn’t appeal) to you about your work?
Do the hours appeal to you?
Does the pay appeal to you?
Do the perks or the bonuses appeal to you?
Does the variety or the routine appeal to you?
Does the commute, or lack of a commute, appeal to you?
Or does the challenge appeal to you?
That’s definition #1.
