EVERYTHING’S GETTING MORE EXPENSIVE!
I had to stay at a hotel my first night back in the U.S.
A cheap 2-star motel on the side of the highway was over $100 a night!
A better motel with fewer bad reviews was over $200 a night!
Ouch.
And now my landlord in Prague wants to end my lease contract early and raise my rent.
Not a little — a LOT!
17%, to be exact.
What to do?
Move? (I hate moving.)
Or stay and pay?
What would you do?

What U get for that + 17%? More space, better service? I would definitely bargain with the landlord to let him cut it, let’s say, in half.. 8% seems reasonable..but perhaps someone from that location in Prague should comment if it’s a ‘normal’ tactic.
