Here was the plan for my last morning in Milan…
I’ll take it easy.
No rushing around.
No stress.
I’ll get an afternoon flight back to Prague.
I’ll sleep late.
Go for a walk in the park.
Sip an espresso in a cafe while I do some people watching.
And finally, enjoy a leisurely lunch.
That was the plan.
And it was going so well.
Until it wasn’t…
CUTTING IT CLOSE
“€120 for an Uber to the airport! That can’t be right…” I thought to myself as I enjoyed my leisurely lunch.
I double-checked.
It was right.
“Is there a cheaper way to get to the airport?” I asked my new AI travel assistant.
“Take the airport express train. It’s only €13.”
Much better.
But then I had to finish lunch, get to the train station, buy the ticket, find the platform, and then wait for the train to leave.
Now I’m finally on my way to the airport.
But the train arrives at 3pm.
And baggage check-in closes at 3pm.
In English, we call that “cutting it close.”
Wish me luck.
Cheers,
Mr. Vig

Ups! The train arrives at 3pm.
And baggage check-in closes at 3pm.
I´m not very good in maths, anyway it was not possible to catch.
What about the end?
