Make believe I’m everywhere

Is the answer to a never-ending story
— lyrics from the soundtrack to The Never Ending Story
————————————————————————
I was walking down the street yesterday with a friend.
He saw a girl he liked.
Most guys would have just let her walk by.
Not my friend.
He’s single and very brave.
So he stopped our conversation, turned around, and walked over to her.
But before he could say ‘Hi,’ she went into a store.
“Oh well,” he said.
But I wanted some entertainment, so I said, “Go after her!”
And he did!
But when he finally said “Hi” to her in the store, she thought he worked there and told him she was looking for a top.
My friend couldn’t think of anything to say, so he said the first thing that popped into his head: “Do you have a special man in your life?”
I guess she thought the line was too cheesy because she didn’t answer and walked away.
What do you think?
Romantic or cheesy?
Cheers,
Mr. Vig
P.S.
“Cheesy” is in The Atomic Word Dictionary.
It’s also the topic of today’s Atomic Homework lesson.
What exactly does it mean?
When can you use it?
What else is cheesy?

I think it was not cheesy. Your friend was actived and wanted to impress on girl. His question was brave but romantic with depp. For nowadays it is unusually. Infortunatelly.
