Whenever I ask Claude to do something difficult, I have to wait, and while I’m waiting, he tells me to “hang tight.”
What does that mean?

And the answer is…
“Wait”… “Be patient”… “Hold on”… Or “Hang on.”
Take your pick.
They all mean the same thing.
(Except “hang tight” is the most informal.)
Now that I think about it, why do we have so many ways to say the same thing?
Are English speakers impatient?
