What did you learn in school?
If your school was like my school, a lot of time was wasted on useless information.
For example…
In the seventh grade, my history teacher, Mrs. Lynn, made us memorize all the kings and queens of England.
Why?
Not only have I forgotten most of them, there hasn’t been a day when I needed to know who came after Alfred the Great.
Meanwhile, there were far more valuable subjects that my schools neglected to teach me.
Off the top of my head…
How to eat so you have energy, don’t get sick and don’t get fat.
How to make money.
How to meet and attract the opposite sex.
How to be happy.
How to be smart with money.
How to choose a career.
And so on.
DON’T NEGLECT THESE WORDS
What about English?
Most textbooks and schools teach you SOME Atomic Words.
But most textbooks and schools neglect to teach you ALL the Atomic Words.
I’m thinking about words like: cope, tend and struggle.
Words my students tell me they never learned in school.
What about you?
Which Atomic Words did your teachers neglect to teach you?
Take a look at your Atomic Word Dictionary now.
Tell me which words you still don’t know.
Share them on the blog.
And then I’ll teach you those words starting tomorrow.
Cheers,
Mr. Vig
