Who likes massages?
Foot… back… Swedish… sports… deep tissue… oil…
They’re all good.
Until they’re not….
GOODBYE BANSKO
This is the end of my annual summer stay in Bansko.
I met a lot of new people and caught up with others I hadn’t seen in a while.
I hiked, biked, swam, attended a conference and spent many hours enjoying the mountain views.
I’m sad to leave.
But I know it’ll be good to return to my normal life.
And I’ll be back next year.
THE MASSAGE FROM HELL
On Monday, I got a massage to prepare my back for my motorcycle adventure.
“Be firm,” I told her.
“I will,” she said.
I didn’t believe her.
I’ve had many massages where it felt like a feather was massaging my back.
When my muscles are tight, I need a strong pair of hands to work out the knots.
This time, it was different.
Soon, I was howling in pain, begging her to ease up.
This was no ordinary spa masseuse; this was a strong Bulgarian mountain woman.
Four days later, my back is still sore.
Next year I’ll tell her to go easy.
Have a great weekend,
Mr. Vig
P.S.
Let’s talk about “go easy” and “take it easy.”
I’ll explain how to use them and when to use them.
