“Are you going to quit skiing?”
Someone asked me that recently.
It’s not a crazy question.
I did break my leg.
It was very expensive. (Thank you to everyone who bought my guides last week and helped me pay my bills!)
And now I’ve got to walk on crutches for 2-3 months.
But without even thinking about the answer, I replied, “Of course.”
Get Back On That Horse
No one likes to make a mistake.
No one likes to look stupid.
But it seems like the people in life who get what they want, well, they seem to care a little less about making mistakes and looking stupid.
The single man ask a girl on a date. She says “No.” They ask another one.
The entrepreneur starts a business. If fails. They start another one.
The English students speaks English for the first time. The waiter at the restaurant tells him, “I’m sorry, I don’t speak Chinese.” He tries again.
In English, the expression for this is, Get back on that horse.
Imagine if you’re riding a horse and it throws you off. Before you can even think about being afraid of riding again, you want to get back on.
Have a great weekend!
Cheers,
Mr. Vig
P.S.
Did you miss the earlier lessons?
