Yesterday, I asked you if I should make a Christmas course you can give a non-fluent friend or family member this Christmas.
Some of you said, No, thanks. My family is learning Icelandic.
But most replied, Yes, good idea.
As one Vitamin V reader put it, “Yes a wonderful gift for Christmas”
So I’ll do that!
Tomorrow morning, I’ll wake up early, make some coffee, look out over the Marmara Sea from my couch on my secret island, and plan my Christmas course for your friends and family.
Maybe it’ll be a voucher you can email or print…
(Suggestions still welcome. Put them on the blog here.)
6 Ways To Say “You’re welcome”
And when you give the voucher, what will you say?
After your friend / family member has wiped away his/her tears of joy and thanked you again and again, it will be time to show off your English skills.
Everyone knows, “You’re welcome.”
So here are six more colorful ways to say “You’re welcome” in English:
“Don’t mention it”
“It’s no big deal.”
“My pleasure.”
“Not at all.”
“I hope you enjoy it.”
And my favorite: “If you don’t like it, can I have it?”
Dear Mr vig , i m thankful to you because i learned English speaking, and knowing English words from your channel, so it is very useful to many peoples. GOD BLESS YOU.
