Mr. Vig’s Five Commandments Of Awesome English
What’s a commandment?
Well, Moses gave us the Ten Commandments.
A commandment is like a rule, only stronger.
And since I know you’re busy, I’ll reduce the number by 50%.
Here we go!
The First Commandment: Thou shalt not study.
Studying is for beginners.
Studying is for children.
Studying is boring.
Smart adults enjoy English.
Smart adults practice English.
Smart adults talk about English-language books, podcasts and TV shows.
“What are you reading?”
“Did you hear the new Joe Rogan podcast?”
“Who is your favorite character in ‘Yellowstone’?”
Get the point?
Good.
Now go and study no more.
No churches, as I remember😀
I like first commandment.Thou😊I will follow😊
Well the first commandment DO NOT STUDY…
I got itt ! Eve has studied and Good was angry on her and Adam and took them out of The Haven because of the danger of knowledge..
…and that was the beginning of the feminism…
When I think at the woman state and condition in the old times I realise the feminism is not so bad…Is anybody who would like to return of those old times?
No, unless it would be returning to the Paradise.
“God didn’t give us rules to live by just to be restrictive. He gave them to protect us from harm!”
So, no more sinning…errr – studying…
My opinion is that rules are a good thing. They strengthen us in discipline, they keep us in harmony. Conversation trip is a great idea!! But I already have a plan to go to Croatia on vacation.
Great
