Fake.
Bogus.

Phony bologna.
The reviews from the restaurant were not authentic!
What am I talking about?
The video I shared with you on Monday told the story of a tourist trap restaurant in Prague.
One day, they had a 1.4 rating on Google.
Then, soon after, they had a 4.3 rating.
How was that possible?
The video said the restaurant bribed customers to leave nice reviews.
That means they offered them something in return for a review, in this case, it was a shot of alcohol.
Bribes may be fine when you need to build a kindergarten in a hurry and don’t have time to wait for safety permits.
But a bribe for a Google review? I was shocked!
How many more businesses have fake reviews?
Who can we trust online?
After buying a product on a website a few months ago, my daughter received a proposal of a gift if she accepted to give a positive review.
She was very shocked and refused.
This teaches us to be very careful about the reviews, especially when there are few of them.
It’s becoming very difficult to know if what we read online is true or false. It’s very difficult to guide children. It’s more and more necessary to teach them to search the truth by researching information and cross-checking it with a critical mind and a great sense of observation.
This is a huge task for parents, who must themselves learn to develop this critical thinking.
