Hello from the smallest country in the EU!
I’m here for a Vig Village meetup.
If you’re new to my world, Vig Village is my online community of friendly English speakers who want to become better English speakers.
And a few times a year we take the community offline and meet for the weekend in different cities.
Doesn’t that sound like fun?
My Impressions Of Malta
Malta is like England, but with better weather.
Here are the similarities:
English is the official language, but just like in London, you’ll hear many languages on the street; and it seems all the drivers, hotel staff and wait staff are from somewhere else.
There are separate faucets for hot and cold water.
They drive on the wrong side of the road.
The people are friendly.
And if you come to visit, remember to bring your UK adapter plug.

I didn’t.
Woops.
The Adventure Begins… Tomorrow
I’m afraid forgetting my adapter was the most exciting thing that happened to me today.
I sat by the pool in the morning and worked. Then some dark clouds rolled in across the sea.
So instead of exploring in the rain, I took a nap and went to a cafe.
Maybe I’ll start a fight at the bar tonight or rob a bank in the morning.
Find out tomorrow…
If I could, I would definitely be in Malta again. By the way, isn’t a Happy Restaurant there?
The smallest country in the UN is not Malta but the Vatican City Castelcandolfo
Among the 27 European Union countries, the Vatican does not appear as a separate state, like Malta.
Maybe…. But I haven’t seen one yet.
Which side of the road is the wrong side? I think in England they drive on the wrong side of the road.
