Speak English!
According to research, speaking English makes you more extroverted.
And being extroverted means you’re more outgoing, less shy, more chatty, you meet more people, make more friends…
That’s good, right?
But yesterday, I asked you if you agree.
And some of you said “No.”
Speaking English makes you feel shy.
I can relate.
CONFIDENCE SHATTERED
I walked onto Air France flight 1313 as a grown man with my head held high and feeling great.
But then I had to speak French to the stewardess.
And I quickly realized I was missing basic sentences.
I didn’t know how to say, “Can you refill my water bottle?” And, “I’m not eating today because I’m fasting.” And, “I think the man sitting next to me is the leader of Al Qaeda.”
Suddenly, I was a little boy again sitting in French class.
So what’s the solution?
TIME TO TALK
If I want to feel more confident on my next Air France flight, I need to add speaking to my daily routine.
If you want to feel like Super Man / Woman / Thing when speaking English, you need to speak more.
Make sense?
Cheers,
Mr. Vig

I passed last weekend in Lisbon with my sons speaking English all times however I don’t feel more confident. English is my daily routine but I know I need to practice more. More vocabulary more speaking, more and more and more…I know i’m in he good way!
