I like Prague.
But in Prague, if I want a craft beer, I have to walk down the street about five minutes.
Here in Bansko, I just cross the street.
That’s four minutes I save on every trip to the pub.
Nice.
A VISIT TO THE PUB
I arrived in Bansko on a Monday.
On Tuesday, I signed up at my co-working, re-joined the gym and stocked my fridge with food.
On Wednesday, I was ready for a craft beer. So after work I crossed the street to the Pivoteka.
The owner and his wife were sitting outside at one of the tables drinking their profits.
They’re English.
I’ve know them since I started coming to Bansko four years ago.
Of course, we talked about the weather.
We agreed that the temperate was mild.
“But next week it’s going to be bonkers,” said the English wife.

Remember the summer vocabulary I taught you a few weeks ago?
