These were all famous American talk show hosts.
What’s a talk show?
It’s a TV show—usually on late at night—that combines comedy and music and celebrity interviews.
And they have them in Canada, too!
My favorite Canadian talk show was from the ’80s and was called Great White North, starring brothers Bob and Doug McKenzie.
If you’ve ever met a Canadian, or been to Canada, you’ll recognize Bob and Doug as typical Canadians.
They like hockey, beer and bacon.
Plus, they have a special way of talking.

I guess is “37 bucks” wich in slang means a standout point performance in basketball
Most of it is clear. But: Do they say “suck it off the top”? I didn’t understand the meaning even after a goggle-search. And another one about sharp……something (sounds like look and took).
Do they speak what we call “ hoser English “ ?
