Sometimes you know what to do.
But you don’t do it.
For example…
Every year, Americans buy millions of diet books.
But 70 million Americans are still overweight.
Could part of the problem be motivation?
Do you have a similar problem with your English?
Here’s my solution for that…
If You Pay, You Pay Attention
A few years ago I was very interested in NLP.
That stands for Neuro-Linguistic Programming.
And coincidentally, one of the top NLP trainers was in Prague to give a weekend training.
I was excited and told my friend, who was also interested in NLP.
He thought about it.
Then he decided not to go.
“Why?” I asked. “I thought you wanted to learn this stuff…”
“I do,” he said. “But I found a bunch of free videos on YouTube.”
So that weekend, I woke up early. I attended the trainings. I sat in the front row. I took lots of notes. I asked lots of questions. And I immediately used the information I learned.
And my friend?
He never watched those free videos.
He never learned NLP.
He never improved his life.
And that’s the lesson.
If you want to take action, pay.
