A better way to ride a dead horse?
Imagine…
You’re riding your horse.
But progress is slow.
Snails are passing you.
You look down and discover the reason why.
Your horse is dead.
Uh oh.
But don’t worry, for those who like to ride dead horses, there’s always a way to fix them.
Intensive English
Dublin… Malta… London…
These cities do a good business hosting students from around the world.
They come there for a week or more of intensive English.
That means, instead of one grammar class a week, they get hours and hours EVERY DAY!
Wow.
That’s gotta work right?
Lesson: If your dead horse isn’t fast enough for you, beat it harder.
Mr Vig, I love your sense of humor 🙂 keep going!
I never hear some word in the Brainscape before !!!!
I du not lick the horse daed…..
I don t lick the horse dead……
Based on recent research and experience, I suggest choosing the Speed School method instead of the Intensive English in Dublin… Malta… London… Thus you choose a powerful horse instead of one dead.
I liked the snails pictures it’s a nice way to translate.
You motivate me to make more time to do English every day. A snail is a good sign.
If.we.can fix a.dead horse this is a good.news; I thought we only can replace it with another horse alive.
On the other hand sometimes the progress doesn’t run but comes slowly.
Thank you for these fascinating lessons 🙂
You’re welcome!
Hi Mr, Vig
Till now I didn’t feel about speaking English, only listen to your tips how to become fluent speaker English.
I liked it, it’s made me laughing
Like the same – when I feel tired, my mind sed:do more, be effective! But my body don’t move, body need relax. Energy starting from relaxing.
Mr. Vig, everything depends on the skills of the jockey and his love to his horse – dead or alive so to beat it harder does not work in both cases…
My favorite animal is a horse so I can not laugh about this joke . Maybe you like joking so I try to understand you
Hi Mr.Vig.
Horse – live, dead…whip and biscuit…
you certainly don’t use a whip (you’re too good for that), but your emails are really good candy for a lazy person like me. I hope my horse isn’t dead yet, he’s little slow. I am truly grateful for your psychological metaphors!
All best!
Thank you for your lectures…
The dead horse is slowly waking up and the snail wonders: intensive English is starting to work every day 🙂
maybe we cant smell the stinking dead body
