I just came back from my weekly piano lesson.
I’m learning Beethoven’s “Ode to Joy.”
The simple version.
And I’ve been learning it for a few weeks now.
Finally, I had to ask my teacher, “Am I normal?”
Does it usually take this long to learn a song?
Do other students make faster progress?
Is there something the matter with me?
Her answer was perfect.
“Your progress is just right for you.”
Right away, that made me feel better.
Do you worry if you’re normal?
Do you wonder if others are learning English faster than you?
My answer, “Your progress is just right for you.”
Have a wonderful weekend,
Mr. Vig

Yes I’m worry about my progress.
I worry about my mistakes but I have to admit I’m not perfect.Sometime I do the best, sometime I do the worst but that means at least the good is between these two limits
I heard this wonderful song but I didn’t know who wrote it…
Today many beautiful songs are written by AI and they are so perfect, you never know…
Yes, my progress is just right for me, too. Even if I spend more time learning, it does not always help. For example, I am never sure about the flash chart phrase “to pick up the pace”. I usually say “to pick up the race”. Maybe due to the photo of the motorcycle on that flash chart.
