I’m back!
Two weeks ago I said “goodbye.”
I left town in the back of an ambulance after a ski accident.
After the surgery, I had lots of time to think about where I would travel next.
You see, I’m not a normal teacher.
The world is my classroom.
Last year I visited Turkey, England, Mexico, the U.S., Georgia, Greece, Czech Republic and… somewhere else? I forgot.
It’s a great life.
But have you ever tried travelling the world with a broken leg?
It’s hard enough to cook dinner.
So for now, I’ve pressed pause on my travels.
I’ll stay in Bansko and take it easy for a few months while my leg heals.
Lessons From The Slopes
My new apartment has a lovely view of the mountain.
There’s still snow on the top.
Although summer is just around the corner, it makes me think of skiing.
One reason I love the sport is because there’s lots of time to think while you’re riding the lift to the top.
And while I was thinking, I thought of a few English lessons for you.
I’ll share them with you this week.
We’ll start tomorrow.
Thanks God!
The best wishes for your healt

You must visit Croatia the little country but people with large hurt.
Hi Mr. Vig.
Please use Czechia instead of Czech republic. There are only a few countries using ‘republic’. Like Democratic republic od Congo, North Corea.. As you know, we are proud part of western civilization.
Thank you,
David, Ostrava (CZ)
You are lucky to work and in the same time you can make trips. It’s like to make holidays and work at the same time. And you don’t have the routine of being at the same place all time
Dear Mr Vig, Hope your injury is not serious. You know that there is a broken leg and a broken leg. Sometimes metal “armature” helps for faster and easy recovery. But do not be sad. Maybe this accident saved you from something worse. Besides that, you have a great view to the mountain and I wish you to enjoy it. Despite that, I would not wish to be in your place.
Faster getting up!
Regards,
Boyco
Best wishes
