When I was a little boy I said a dirty word.
My mother heard me and washed my mouth with soap.
I won’t do that to you, but I would strongly advise you not to say these words.
Especially if your goal is to become a confident English speaker.
Bad Word #3
Later.
This weekend I met a student who needs better English.
“Can I start later?” he asked.
I told him there are only two times: now and never.
I’ve been hearing students say “later” for almost twenty years.
Later usually never comes.
If you need better English…
If it’s important…
If it will change your life…
Be perfect later.
But start now.
Hi Ryan !
Since I started the tratament with Vitamine “V”,
I manage read more easly ,to understand faster from the media or watching TV, of course in English.
THANK YOU VERY MUCH Mr VIG !!!

Wise advice. It’s worth doing!
Yes, you are right: start now, be perfect later. Thank you!
This is a very through! I’m sure. I completely agree with you!
Now, not later!
Later= never
Why then do the Enylish have a proverb:” better late than never?,😊
I like yours too” Now or never”!
Sorry” English”
Good motivation! I’ll wright it on my T-shirt “Be perfect later, But start now!”
My favourite phrase. “Here and Now”
There is a saying that says what you can do today don’t leave it for tomorrow
Later usually never comes- It’s a beautiful that I have heard tonigjt
Hmm.. washing mouth with soap..? It sounds a little strange..for me.. How did you know the “dirty” word? And what was it?? I am curious.. hmm..My first probably not cultural word was “darn” when my father was doing someting and I repeated it after him…. that is such story that it was first word which I spoke…is it possible..?
Your teaching method about how to learn is excellent!! I am fascinating! When I am listening video I smile all time! I like it and Your letter stile too!
Hi, Mr Vig! I’m absolutely agree: now and/or never. The last time I read every day your letter and I write comment. And I enjoy this, that it is motivation and challenge for me, now. Thank you!🥰
Lovely
Thank you so much for your kind emails
Yes dear Mr Vig îs better to say now not later, thanks to remind me that!
Be perfect later. Start now! is perfect. I’ll use it from now on.
“It’s now or never”…
I enjoy reading your lessons. It is very interesting and useful. (I’m 70, and sorry if there are mistakes in my writting.)
Best regards, Nada.
Glad you’re enjoying them!
#Bad word three…..I am not at all familiar with postponing of the tasks which I have qualified as priority…..that would be quite counterproductive. My motto would be “let’s do the task as soon as possible”😊✅️
Later has its opposite, which is now. Of course, many understand “now” as a broader choise for a longer period of time. And who knows when “now” will be. Of course – later.
I agree whith you, so I answer you now. You are a really good teacher. Thanks
