ATOMIC WORD #2,025: Severe
14 inches of snow in Manhattan.
17 inches in Boston.
And the winner, Rhode Island with 38 inches! (96 centimeters)
Also….
Wind up to 80 mph.
Power outages.
Major highways closed.
Thousands of flights canceled.
MEANWHILE IN VIRGINIA…
It was much milder.
My dad told me he was in California on a business trip when he heard the forecast.
So he decided to rush back a day early to arrive before the snow.
But when he landed the snow quickly turned to rain.
Ho hum.
Cheers,
Mr. Vig
TOMORROW: How else can you use “severely”?
