This week, we’re turning lemons into lemonade.
My #1 fan says I “insulted his dignity.”
He also says he has given my email to the police.
So maybe the police will come to arrest me.
Or maybe the police will also become Vitamin V fans.
Either way, let’s take this opportunity to learn a new word.
Dignity
Imagine this…
You need money.
Do you ask for money or do you ask for work?
Most people would ask for work.
But a homeless person asks for money.
And why wouldn’t you go on the street and ask strangers for money?
Because you have dignity.
You have a high opinion of yourself, and begging would break your positive self-image.
Here’s what my #1 fan should have written:
“Your email doesn’t dignify a response.”
That means, he will not respond because he has dignity.
Got it?
Good.
HI Ryan !
Yes I Have !
I have a question !
Do you know the injured person ?
You said he doesn’t participate in Vitamin V,
so, how did he see the email ?
Quiet evening !
Sometimes the silence is the most dignified response and if you cannot keep it …
For me, the most interesting term to discuss tomorrow should be harassment, a trendy word, I think.
I think that email should be a joke !
But it is a good idea with the of this email learn interesting words .
E.g. harassment
Josef
About boundary, self- esteam , what is appropriate and what is not
or I would like about feeling offended, about grudge…
Maybe this guy is paranoid… or simply delusional. If I were you, I wouldn’t mind his grammar or the police
Kul att du delar med dig.
You are the best.

Hi Ryan!
It would be very interesting to learn about these words: ndirectly threatening and harassment.
Thank you.
It was a helpful lesson on how to use the word “dignity” in correspondence to answer an unpleasant email. Thanks!
All three words,,, Dignity, disturbed ,
Super educational lessons this week (incl.the idiom in the title). Lots of valuable advices and not a single offensive or threatening or insulting or…message. Either directly nor indirectly. Excellent! I really look forward to you continuing the same!
For a police officer, I strongly recommend joining Vitamin V.
Dear sir Vig, I’ve been following you for over 6 months now and I even sent you a personalized message last fall when you were at your parents’ house and I even drove my truck through your town. I really like the way you approach language to learning english. I learned English by myself since 2016 when I started working on a truck in the USA after I was fired from the Canadian police in Quebec for a mistake that my bosses thought was capital…. But like any kick in the ass is a step forward and for me working in the USA meant the opening of unimagined horizons.
I have visited all the US states except Alaska and Hawaii and I have felt in love with ordinary Americans…especially those who live in the country regardless of the state in which they live.
Hi Ryan! It would be interesting explore words: Private integrity.
