Monika was one of the worst students Iβve ever had.
She was always late.Β
She cancelled often.
And of course, she never did her homework.
Yet, the last time I spoke with her, her English was very good!
How did she do it?
People Power
Monika was the type of person Iβve never understood.
She likes parties and groups and crowds and noise and people, people, people.Β
Doctors call this strange condition βextrovert.βΒ
So when Monika was busy skipping my lessons and not doing my homework, she was talking with foreigners at her new job — in English.Β
And that was Monikaβs unknown superpower.
When you love meeting and talking with new people, as long as those new people are speaking English with you, thatβs a superpower thatβs better than any English lesson.Β
Unfortunately, I’m not extrovert, I’m introvert.
Extroverts think and act differently than introverts do. Hence there is a difference in their way of studying English. Something good for extroverts can be bad for introverts and the opposite.
100% true
but you need also practicing learning alone
I never did my homework too ππ at school too, only from physics and chemistry because it was interesting for me ππ Wishes ππ
I think that’s true because if you speak with many different people in ENGLISH you can prove your knowledge
Good for your student can manage her superpower without discover it; it’s a chance,I think, to have to speak English with clients at your job, because speaking more and more every day, finally you learn it. For me, is important that I like to read phantasy stories that inspire me.
Hi, yeah, that is the best way how to be a natural speaker. I don’t know better way and although I’m introvert I try do it almost every day.
Really? π
Perfect idea, thanks.., I try
I’m agree with you.
Monika is very special ππ
