Bad news!
Facebook just disabled my account.
They kicked me out.
They shut the door.
They locked it and threw away the key!
So it looks like my days of teaching online are over.
Oh, well.
What should I do next?
Bus driver?
Shark hunter?
But wait!
Let’s take a closer look at the email from Facebook.
Notice anything strange?
The English is strange!
“some of posts… violates…”
“in the process of deletion process…”
“follow the button…”
I know Zuckerberg didn’t finish college, but I’m pretty sure he can write better than this!
As we say in English, something smells fishy (translation: I think they’re lying)
So I clicked on “report email.”
Another reason to improve your English — fight crime like Batman and Mr. Vig!
Do you have any idea what happened? This has happened with me too, they said I had published a fake news, but the same news was in all the newspapers.
If it wasn’t from FB it was a way to get your personal data and/or money. If it really was from FB, then they don’t like non-left opinions.
Thanks for sharing, 5! I’ll be following your guidelines, 7!
I have to admit that after reading the first lines I was sad, thinking that these wonderful lessons had come to an end.I’m very glad that it’s not like that, I realise that it was a fake news. It sounds like a Friday night joke!
Thank you for many things! I can’t explain everything in English 🤣😂😂😂😂
😉😉😉
Oh gosh! What’s a bed news! Van I help you? All my best wishes and sinceres salutations grom Poland!
BB
Wow…, it was a bad joke…, but I’m happy to stay with us…
Best wishes…
Thanks for charing. Hope this accident passed you by. We need you as English teacher. Not plumber… or bus driver with crutches…
Great weekend and get well for your leg!
This kind of messages or emails is unfortunately common nowadays. Theirs basic purpose is to panicked you or to cause you joy ( I don’t know if I wrote this correctly). For example email from “your” bank which promise you money. In these two cases the first reaction is to “follow the button”.
The second reaction has to be something smell fishy.
Have a nice weekend without phishing emails!
And something else. This message from “Facebook” is probably result of Google translate.
Fortunately we could use the chance to fight the crime, knowing that thieves are stupid sometimes..
So! In Romanian language is a word “everthing is good when the finish is good” 😀
Hi,
It was really bad news. Wonder if Facebook has nothing else to do?
İ don’t focus learning English. What is the best way for focus learning English.İ tried a lot,but problem continues
Join my course, of course:)
Oh, these evel huckers constantly trying to steal our sensitive information by sending such kind of fishing emails. All of us should be aware about it, be careful and behave exactly like you Mr. Vig!
I had not believed that is possible they shut down your account. I hope you made an appeal. When you find out what rules you violated let us know.
I’m sorry
Really something smell fishy. Lets fight the crime with English
