How was your Sunday?
Me, I took a walk.
And it was amazing!
Why?
Did I see a rare bird?
Did I find some treasure?
Did I discover the meaning of life?
No.
But I did find a mistake!
Do you see the mistake?
Jump over to the blog and share what you think it is (and what the correct way to write this is).
And we’ll continue this… tomorrow!
Better look for own mistakes, than in country which is not your originaly- native😉🙃🙂
I think the mistake is the line ‘2024 from the operational reasons closed’.
Correctly it would be ‘2024 because of operational reasons closed’.
I think the order of the words is not correct. For me sounds better like this:
…The Memorial is closed till March 31 due to operational reasons
There are 2 mistakes: “is closed till…” and instead of “from operational reasons”: due to operational reasons. Cheers!
Vitkov, ne Vitkovo brdo.
Hm…. The national memorial is closed until March 31, 2024 , for operational reasons
I think, the mistake is “from”. In my opinion, it should be “for” (the operational reasons). Here we see a “direct translation” of the way of thinking in a Slavic (Czech) language.
Thank you for your understanding?
I think it would be
From operational reasons, The National Memorial on The Vitkov Hill will be closed until 31 March 2024.
Hi! It is 2 words operational vs. operativ with different meaning, and the order of words is not correct. I think, in the text will be …is closed (because) for operativ reason till March 31. 2024.
From the operatoinal reasons the National Memorial on Vitkov Hill is closing till march 31,2024.
The memorial is closed until March 31, 2024 for the operational reasons.
I think the correct is: “Until March 31″…. and ” because of operational reasons closed’
“is closed”. You can not separe the verb to be from past participle.
The correct option would be: “The National Memorial will be closed till (until) March 31, 2024 for operation reasons”.
The correct option would be: “The National Memorial will be closed till (until) March 31, 2024 for operational reasons”. Sorry!
I think it could be:
Dear visitors, the National Memorial on the Vitkov hill will be closed until March 31 2024 because of operational reasons.
But I found a mistake!
I believe it should be written:
Dear visitors,
The national memorial on the Vitkov hill is closed because of the operational reasons till March 31 2024.
Thank you for your understanding.
Hi Ryan !
Thank You for your “VOCABFAST”⁶
My Sunday was wonderful
Absout mistake, I think it would be :
Dear visitors, The National Memorial will be closed untill March 31 2024 ,for operational reasons.
Thank you for understanding !
I don t se the mistake
Hi,
what about:
The Vítkov National Memorial will be closed untill 31 March 2024 for operational reasons.
Irena
Hi, “ is till March 31
Will be open till 31 of March
I would take “your” out of the phrase.
My tip: The National Memorial on The Vitkov Hill is closed until 31 March 2024 for operational reasons.
The Vítkov National Memorial will be closed untill 31 March 2024.
…The National Memorial on the Vitkov Hill IS CLOSED till March 31, 2024 from the operational reasons.
….Is closed till March 31, 2024 for operational reasons
For me, even such a simple sentence like this is quite problematic for several reasons. Except for the strange order of the words in the sentence, I mean I would prefer something like “…is closed for operational reasons until March 31, 2024.”, I am constantly not sure if/when to use “the” (for operational reasons or for “the” operational reasons?; on Vitkov Hill, or on “the” Vitkov Hill?); or in general, which preposition to use (on, or e.g. at Vitkov?) . So it is hard for me to find a mistake easily – I can just guess if it is here or there 🙁
is closed until March 31 due to ..
It´s very nice place! I think mistake in English could be: on the Vítkov hill = on top of Vítkov hill. And mistake in Czech could be, no, we have English.
if we write in the beginning dear visitors, at the end need to write your understandings.
The National Memorial on The Vitkov Hill will be closed until 31 March 2024.From operational reasons.
Another one suggestion:
Due to operational reasons, the National Memorial of Vitkov Hill/the Vitkov Hill National Memorial is closed until March 31, 2024
I think it’s better to print: memorial of vitcoy hill is opened till…because of…
“The national memorial will be closed, till March 31, due to operational reasons”. I think this is the right way, to write it down. In my opinion, the main mistake, is the use of the present participle tense “is closed”, instead of the future participle tense “will be closed”.
DEAR VISITORS,
THE VITKOV HILL NATIONAL MEMORIAL IS CLOSED TILL ON MARCH 31, 2024 FROM THE OPERATIONAL REASONS
THANK YOU FOR YOUR UNDERSTANDING
Not FROM. may be DUE TO OPERATIONAL REASONS
“The National Memorial on Vitkov Hill will be closed from March 31, 2024 for operational reasons……..“
I think that they should write: the national memorial will be closed till 31st march 2024 due to operational reasons.
Mistake: of the operational reasons IS closed!
I would say: Dear Visitors, The National Memorial on the VÍTKOV Hill will be close until March 31, 2024 because of operational reasons.
the national memorial on Vitkov hill is closed until 31 March,2024 for operational reasons
The National Memorial on Vitkov hill is closed until 31 March, 2024 for operational reasons
“… is still closed for operational reasons until march31 2024.” (I think this is de right way)
The national memorial Vítkov is closed until March 31, 2024 for the operating reasons.
Where may I see the correct answer?
The national memorial will be closed until March 31 for operational reasons.
Will be closed because of operational reasons
Hi, I would say -The memorial is closed till…due to the operational reasons.
