And the phrase of the day is…
“Take for granted.”
Goodbye, Czech Republic; Hello, Bulgaria
Travelling from Prague to Warsaw to Sofia today, I heard this sentence more than once:
“Do you speak English?”
From stewardesses…
From travelers…
From me.
When I travel, I have to remember my documents, my bags and my schedule.
But I don’t have to remember my language.
It just seems normal that the world speaks English.
I have to remind myself that I’m lucky.
I definitely take it for granted.
Good
Welcome, Mr. Vig! I hope you’ll have an wonderful time here in Sofia & Bansko, and you’ll have a real snow. The winter is quite warm, but the pubs in Bansko are some of he best, and don’t miss to try Katino meze, shops ka salad and, of course, rakia!!! 😀
Thank you! Walking around today, the meat from the restaurants smells very good! Looking foward to trying the local cuisine.
travel is wonderful. Great impressions!
Welcome, Mr. Vig
Very close to Macedonia!😊🖐
Have a nice experience
It’s true 😁 I want this feeling too 😊👍
The parents love their children but they don’t show them enough love , hugs and kisses. They take it for granted.
Is this comment correct for this : take for granted ?
Have a nice day,
Jasmina
Hmm, I would say, Parents don’t think about how fast their children will grow up and forget about them; they take their childhood affection for granted. When you don’t appreciate something fully, you take it for granted. Make sense?
