Do you know this expression?
“Don’t sweat the small stuff.”
You can use it to say that someone is focusing on the wrong things, on the unimportant things.
I see that a lot of students make this mistake when they focus too much on their accent.
In my opinion, that’s the small stuff.
So don’t sweat it (don’t worry about it).
What’s more important?
Yesterday I asked you.
One of my readers wrote “a good mood.”
Who likes to talk to a grump? (a person who is grumpy)
So being a pleasant person someone enjoys talking to is MUCH more important than your accent.
What else is more important than accent when speaking with someone?
