Yesterday I gave you a short tour of the doors of Prague.
I’ve always been curious about them.
For years I wondered, “What’s on the other side?”
Now I know.
Well, at least I now know what’s behind one.
Want to take a look inside?
A New Side of Prague
After 23 months away from Prague, I’m finally back.
For the past few weeks I’ve been jumping from apartment to apartment.
I’ve been in an old apartment, an apartment from the ‘20s, an apartment from the ‘30s, and now I’m back in a really old one.
The owner tells me the building was originally a Gothic monastery (from the 13th century?).
Then it was a library.
Then a print factory.
And now there’s a journalism school, a cafe, a Krav Maga studio and apartments.
So let’s start the tour!
the arched entrance
a small statue in an alcove
a courtyard with a cafe
columns supporting the sky
Pretty cool, right?
