I’ve been in Riga for four days.
Already I know three words.
I know the Latvian words for “hello”, “thank you” and “goodbye.”
Today I walked into a shop.
The shopkeeper greeted me in Latvian.
So I thought I would take the opportunity to practice my Latvian.
I opened my mouth and the first word that came out was the word for “thank you.”
Oh well.
However, I must say, my pronunciation was excellent.
Business And Pleasure
What am I doing in Riga?
Last weekend I attended an event for entrepreneurs.
We went to some fancy restaurants.
We shot guns.
We drove off-road vehicles through the muddy forest.
And I guess we talked about business a little.
Welcome among us Ryan after your pleasant stay in Riga. Hope you’re in a good shape.

Hi Ryan,
I was very busy last week, traveling to Paris, and couldn’t find time to post comments.
I’m glad you had a good weekend in Latvia. Talking about business a little and having a lot of fun is the perfect combo. I never shot guns until now but you gave me the idea, I think I would like it.
