My advice: pack light.
Your teacher is a traveller… a nomad… a member of the internationally homeless…
Today, I’m visiting Vig Village members in the Slovak capital.
Tomorrow… you’ll see!
My Packing List
- pants: two pair
- shoes: two pair– one light pair for walking and running and one heavy pair for hiking and bad weather
- collored shirts: two
- tee shirts: three sweater: one
- winter coat: one
- winter hat: one
- summer hat: one
- underwear and socks: just enough
- electronics: laptop, Kindle, Boise noise-cancelling headphones
- Miscellaneous: earplugs, sleepmask, sunglasses, toiletries
I can fit it all into one bag — The Nomadic — and it always fits into the overhead compartment on the plane.
The negative of travelling light is that I can’t buy real books.
If I do, I have to leave them behind.
The positive of travelling light is that I can’t buy stuff I don’t need.
If it can’t fit into my already-full bag, I don’t buy it.
A life without shopping is a simpler, more satisfying life.
Have a good trip.
I have to show this to my wife, I always have a problem packing my wife and daughter’s luggage into our car.
Have a great trip.
I agree, simple life Is a good life, and nomadic can feel freedom…have a good trip 🙂
Stay free,have a nice trip!
Mr Vig I agree with you . I usually travel with my hand luggage. Have a nice time to your trip.
Wish you a good time with Vig Village members.
I wish I could survive with just a few things.
the older I get, the less things I need. I am lighter not only in body, but my soul flies to the stars…
Thoughtful, simple, useful – the rest goes into a backpack or travel case.
This is a proven recipe, why change it?
Congratulations Teacher! You are very well organized! I will take also this model.
Many thanks !
I like a lot your description of your traveling life. It souns atractive. But, I wonder if you don´t find your self alone sometimes.

Hi Ryan!
Great mindset, great life! A few things in backpack and the rest of the world fits inside you…and is with you all the time. Hmm🤔…maybe I can sell this idea to my daughter.
