I love cemeteries.
They’re peaceful.
The old ones are beautiful.
And they’re perfect for walking and thinking.
My neighborhood I’m staying in this month isn’t my favorite.
It’s outside the historic center and there’s a noisy tram line outside my window.
Oh well.
But one good thing about it is, there’s an old cemetary one block from my door!
It’s right down the street from where Mozart wrote Don Giovanni.
The trees and ground are covered in vines.
Tombs are so old and cracked they look like the zombies already escaped.
Another interesting thing is, most of the headstones are written in German.
The cemetary is from a time when Prague was divided between Jews, Germans and Czechs.
And English was definitely not a global language.
And then there was this lady…
Maybe she came here to teach English…
I also like cemeteries, but only the old,
historical ones. For my husband it is quite wierd… He says it’s a rather morbid hobby 🙂
When you’re in a cemetary you can think about life or death. I guess I enjoy them because think about the positives.
Pretty nice sentences. Thank you, Ryan for sharing.
You’re very welcome!
I like these stories written by you! On the first place they’re more than interesting.Further, on the other hand, it’s an excellent opportunity for me to practice English!
You are very well-read. When you write and describe the place where you are living, I can easily follow and imagine. Thank You!
I’m sorry! I don’t like the cemetieres!
Tombs are so old and cracked they look like the zombies already escaped ! 🙁

Hi, do you mean the Saturday class?
The cemetery is peaceful and melancholic, which evokes many thoughts about the past and the future
It’s an incredible story 🙂. I don’t like cemeteries because there are a lot of people who somebody lost. It’s so sad, hard and hurt. But I like to know about this woman? Was she teacher?🕵️
I don’t actually know. I wish I did, but she’s not famour, nor is she on Google.
You have a great talent to story. It is a pleasure to read your words. But do you have a British sense of humor? Are you in love with Prague? Are you tempt to stay there for ever?😀😀
Thanks! I do. I am. And I am!
