Yesterday was a rainy day here in Virginia.
So instead of my usual afternoon hike, I decided to go into town for a swim.
Here’s what I noticed…
In the workout room, there were about ten women following their leader and moving to music.
In the pool, there were dozens of high school swimmers taking orders from their coaches.
Also…
In the workout room, there were zero people lifting weights by themselves.
And in the pool, there were only three people swimming laps by themselves.
What does this mean?
Well, first of all, most people in this town were not even at the exercise center.
They were working or driving or looking at their phones while working or driving.
But for those who were at the exercise center…
They were exercising with other people.
I get it.
It’s hard to self-motivate.
Much easier to workout in a group and with a leader.
That’s one reason why I created Power Word Academy.
You always know what to do, when to do it, and how to do it.
And you’re not alone.
