An announcement goes out over the loudspeakers in the center of Prague.
“We would like to inform you of the validity of the regulation concerning the use of fireworks in the center of Prague.”
Uf!
What a mouthful.
Here at Planet Vig, we like things simple.
George Orwell had it right when he said:
“Never use a long word where a short one will do.”
And….
“If it is possible to cut a word out, always cut it out.”
So how would YOU say that long, complicated, unnatural sentence in a simpler way?

I think, that the shortest way to say this would be: Feuerwek verboten! 😉

I would say : Watch out ! In the center of Prague, regulated fireworks !
