“Home sweet home.”
Have you heard that one before?
You say it when you return home.
And you’re glad to be back.
I said it last night.
I walked into my Prague apartment for the fist time in seven weeks.
I left on October 15.
I travelled to Kuwait, Thailand, Vietnam and England.
Ten flights in total.
Everything went smoothly.
Without a hitch.
I petted elephants, rode a motorcycle without a license, overstayed my visa in a communist country, fought off mosquitos, ate street food…
And not one single problem!
Until last night….
NOBODY’S PERFECT
It was a beautiful Sunday morning in England.
The air was crisp, but the sun was shining.
I went to church with my married friends and their two kids.
We walked around the Christmas markets.
We found a cafe to warm up in and have a coffee.
And we were having a lovely chat on the couches by the window, watching the people walk by, when all of a sudden my friend said, “We’re going to be late!”
Time had gotten away from us.
We quickly got up, paid and sped through the English country lanes to the train station.
I jumped out of the car, said some quick good-byes, ran to the platform and…
Made it!
Just in time.
I was feeling pretty good about myself and about life in general.
Until I walked into Stansted airport and couldn’t find my flight on the departures board.
“That’s odd,” I thought.
Then I double-checked the reservation.“Heathrow,” it said.
Woops.

Make mistakes Is good.
Thanks to Alexander Fleming,

John Pemberton 😉🌊💯🤯
Furcsa lett volna, ha Ázsiából a gép a Stanstedre érkezik !
When I read your interesting story, I remembered something similar that happened to me. I was supposed to go to Luxembourg, and from there my friend and I were flying to Tunis for a holiday. My trip was from Moldova to Frankfurt, and then from Frankfurt to Luxembourg by train.
When I arrived, I was surprised because I couldn’t recognize the airport. I asked the staff to show me the way to the train station — and that’s when I discovered I wasn’t in Frankfurt at all. I was 130 km away, at a completely different airport – Hahn Airport..
It turned into a pretty funny adventure.😁
