My vacation is now officially over.
Last week I was in Dubai and Bangkok.
Now I’m in a medium-sized city in the north of Thailand.
There are mountains here.
It’s hot.
I know some people who live here.
The food is amazing.
The people are friendly.
And this will be my new home for the next month or two.
I am a travelling teacher.
Everyone Speaks Chinese
Here’s an interesting memory from my trip.
In Bangkok, I attended a conference for business owners who like to travel (like me!).
One night, after dinner, I got a taxi with two Americans who were also at the conference.
After some small talk, they discovered that they both lived in China.
Then they started speaking Chinese to each other.
Then the Thai taxi driver joined the conversation.
“Everyone speaks Chinese in this cab except me?” I thought.
Let’s hope this trend doesn’t continue.
Let’s keep speaking English.
And let’s Make English Global Again!
Hi Ryan
I like you choose to spend some time in ASIA. You have a great chance to learn some words in Chinese language and in turn us.
Oh! Greetings to all Chinese speakers included July!
Enjoy wonderful nature🏞
My plan to traveling to Thailand next month. Can’t wait 🥰🥰
oh i wish i also were in Chiang mai!!!
Global English .. or Chinese .. ok, in Europe English is the most popular .. but I am interested in the conference in Bangkok for traveling business owners … what news .. ? Some innovations …
Amazing place…. I suggest that you sent some photos from the place you are every time, not just words…
Pozdrawiam z Polski tutaj dużo ludzi mówi po angielsku Ale bardzo mało po chińsku;))))
Almost every continent has prevailing language. In Europe is English, in Asia- Chines, in South America – Spanish.
In South America Spanish and Portuguese in Brazil (big country)
Hi, Ryan! let’s Make English Global Again! That makes sense!
Well, It´s a feeling I recognize, and it´s not pleasant.
I mean being among people who speak a lenguage very well, while you can´t participate.
It,s like you are not smart like them!
Hi Ryan,
Yes, I can say again, for me, Chinese is a very difficult language so is good to continue with English.
Hi Ryan!
Welcome back, we missed you!
Wow, my dear traveling teacher…how far you are!! Here, in Europe, I felt that you were closer to us.
Yeah ! Other worlds, other cultures, customs, other languages…Arabic, Sanskrit, Chinese, Japanese, Korean…
Unfortunately, I met them more and more often in Europe, in the last two months…And many mosques in Great Britain, Germany, France…
But…let’s hope weremain here, like in America…fluent English speakers! 🙏👍❤️. Good luck and enjoy your stay in the Far East!!
Greetings from Romania!!👍❤️
I like your life agenda
If the two weren’t former businessmen, it probably wouldn’t have happened like this.
In other words, English is perhaps the most beautiful language.
GREAT !
Perhaps in the new multipolar world, this globality of the English language will be questioned!!
