The police make cities safe.
The past made cities beautiful.
But another type of person makes them fun…
The Story So Far
This week we’re talking about lessons I learned while living life as a nomad.
I spent two years and five months travelling and living in Airbnbs.
But on Monday, I got the keys to my new apartment.
So what did I learn?
Lesson #3
What do you like to do in a new city?
Check out the KFC?
Explore the Starbucks that’s the same in your city?
Or do you want to find new and unique places?
A one-of-a-kind restaurant?
A cozy cafe?
Sample craft beer?
Buy local souvenirs?
Then you can thank an entrepreneur.
LESSON THREE: Entrepreneurs make cities fun
FELICITARI RYAN !!!
Toate cele bune ,
Gabriel
What mean Airbnbs
They’re short-term aparment rentals.
Every move from one environment to another brings changes. Changes lead us – if we relax, allow ourselves – to transform. In a new environment, we become a “new” person.
Let’s be flexible.
I think that everywhere we are the same person but we can discover new part of ourself
Enterpreuner make cities fun because you have got cozy coffee, local souvenirs, sample craft beer, unique places, but the past made cities more beautiful
Hi! Traveling is fabulous! You last the comfort zone and try a new situation. Change is challenge and it is necessary but it brings news, and it inspires you to do change in your life. Only you be ready to do!
Τhanks Mrving very interesting lesson about ARBNBS
Thanks, Mr. Vig, for the travel related topic. Always an interesting and relevant topic. Our life is a travel. I love travel, I am not afraid of change, I welcome and look for development. At different stages of my life, I travel in different ways: by car, by plane, with the pages of a good book, with the interesting stories of friends or on the wings of my imagination. It’s always new, different, even when I visit familiar places. However, the same of every trip is that I keep my distance from overpacked/ overstuffed suitcases. I don’t like heavy bags. I don’t like anything heavy: heavy furnitures, heavy words, heavy looks, heavy thoughts…
When I arrive in a new place, I first taste the air, look at the sky, notice the faces of the people, the aroma of the trees. And after all this I notice what the entrepreneurs have prepared for us. If they had good intentions, the results are also good and the place has me hooked. If the intentions of the entrepreneurs have been overwhelmed, I rush to the next destination.
But the beauty is not only in old buildings and parks. It’s everywhere, anytime and in everything, as long as we can see it.
Thanks mr Vig. We touch intresting theme. I like journy, changes, new freunds but your home is a fortress,
I would give KFC and Starbucks a wide berth in every city 🙂
