On Monday, I went into town to get a medical check up.
While the nurse was rubbing some strange machine on my stomach, we started to talk. (Very common in the US, not so common in Europe.)
She told me she’s new to Virginia.
Originally, she’s from Phoenix, Arizona.
“Why did you move?” I asked her.
“Because of the zombie apocalypse,” she told me.
I wasn’t quite sure what she was talking about, so I asked.
“Fentanyl,” she said.
That’s a new drug.
It’s a big problem in the US.
And when you take it, you fall asleep sitting or standing and you look like a zombie.
(I’ll stick with beer, thank you.)
“What do you think of Virginia?” I asked her next.
“It’s lovely,” she told me. “And so green!”
Hmm…
She’s right.
Virginia is lovely and green.
And so far, no zombies!
So let’s talk about my home state of Virginia this week!
(And learn some new words at the same time)
It will be great! And, could you email your daily Vit. V lessons?
I heard about this scary problem with fentanyl!
Virginia- green and without zombies (hopefully without crazy recreational fetanyle drug problems)-that’s great!
Virginia is one of the States, witch I have not visited. I would like😊
I hope you enjoy your holidays in Virginia , Rayan . I am agreed with your nurse . In 2000, we drove from New York to Washington DC . When we crossed Virginia , I decided to stay there a day ( it was not in my plan ) because Virginia was lovely and pretty .
It always something miracle with the Fentanyl- a substance having puissance about one hundred times more than morphine . I worked for anesthesia department in hospital-and my patients always told me when they woke up ““what ! so agreeable for sleeping with Fentanyl. Are you agreed ?
Oh! You scaried me ,, with ..that drug,” Fentanyl” brrrr!
My son’s family live in Azusa, ,L. A.. I’m worried about ….
I’m glad that you ..raise high… to your home! Enjoy holidays!
Thanks for your letters, Mr Vig)) They are very nice and cool 😎 👍👍
They also talked about Fentanyl in Finnish news. There were also videos and interviews about users. It was shocking and so sad to watch.
It is interesting to hear about Virginia. I’ve already watched something.
I have never heard about fentanyl, so I found some online information about it. It is VERY SAD😔!
