What?
How?
Who?
When?
How often?
When I was in teacher school, I learned there’s a formula for questions.
question word + auxilary verb + subject + main verb
I never knew that!
My whole life, I was asking questions… WITHOUT a formula!
What a fool I was.
Never again!
Then I taught my students this magic formula.
And what do you think happened?
Did this formula make speaking English:
- a walk in the park? (translation: easy)
- easy as pie? (translation: easy)
- a train wreck? (translation: a disaster)
I think you know the answer.
But think about it, and I’ll tell you tomorrow.
AND I’ll tell you the most important question in English… Maybe.
Thank you!
question word + auxilary verb + subject + main verb = a disaster with English…
Hi! The questions are very important and practical instruments to structured analysis and answer of a difficult situation. But how do built a question grammatical perfect, it is a methodical practice.
I remember nothing about this or similar formula. Its interesting😊
I think do you have a formular or not it’s no mate for your confidence
Thank you!
What do I want? I want to be more confident, but first of all more careful 😀
Original English learning.
Weird sentence: What a fool I was.
And then a surprising collection of unusual pictures, miniature masterpieces – playing cards.
One reads: Sometimes, you just have to play the role of a fool to fool the fool who thinks they are fooling you..
And so we learn this magic formula that helps to speak English.
Cheers.
Well, I think a little bit of grammer can be helpful. At least for me. Also, the majority of Vig Villagers came here with some knowledge.
And the real “formula” is to listen and practice speaking.
Thank you, it could be helpful.
I like your wey of teaching!
It’s a bit confusing, because I can ask: What kind of something…
Thank You, Easy as pie I knew, 1 and 3 I’ll wait. I don’t want there to be a disaster🤣
conversations!
Thank you.
I think the question “why” helps me to remember on English every day.
