When you walk down the stree, do you ever look in people’s windows?
I do.
I want to see how other people live.
And the best way to do that?
Aibnb!
(I swear I don’t secretly work for the company.)
The Story of Airbnb
A few years ago, two American entrepreneurs needed some cash.
They looked around to see what they could sell and all they had was space in their apartment.
So they rented out an air mattress on the floor to a traveller.
Thus the name, Airbnb (Bed and Breakfast).
That was the original idea — you stay in someone’s home.
These days, more and more apartments are real businesses and no one lives there full time.
But this week, I got lucky!
My apartment in Budapest feels like a real home because it is.
On the wall, there are pictures of the family.
On the shelves, there are their books.
In the cabinet, their music collection.
And coincidentally, the wife is an English teacher, too!
What’s the English lesson here?
I don’t know.
But if you’re reading English, and enjoying it, you’re learning!

No way…Airbnb don’t convince me..
Hi in Budapest! 🙂
I also like walk down the street, and look in people’s windows?Paticulary in evening time😉
(If you wana enjoy more and more this way of human habits throur their windows you should visit Holland, they never cover their windows even if they make pedicure cause there are no curtains and then you can study their habits and traditions)
The Airbnb history is very interesting !
I don’t know if it’s true but, I’m charming with your explanation.
A simple idea can make a great business !!!
I find interesting that you have a good impression when the reallity of the people who live there is so present. I have relatives who rent their houses in this way and I always thought that the sight of intimat things might not appeal to visitors.
Yes, I’m curious to look in people’s windows to see a piece of their life and I have a so strange feeling ( me being out, they being into) and when I visited a Netherland town for students, I saw a curious habit they don’t have curtains and you can see real cats on the window or little things on porcelain or flowers,; however it was a certain meaning in this habit like I say they display a bit of.their life in.

Hi, I like the next, it sounds for me nice… maybe because it is about normal house/ flat .., with just „regular” family, regular life .. and about American style- make money, do business 😉 😊🌿
Where are You, Mr. Vig?
I am a follower, and it is fantastic that You are here in Budapest, because I live here, too.
Whenever I watched Your zoom lessons and I heard That You were a travelling teacher, I always asked in myself, would it be possible that one day, this dear Mr.Vig comes into my home town, too?
And now You are here.
Are there any possibilities to meet You and maybe other Hungarians as well, who adore You?
Waiting for Your reply: Mary Bors

I like to receive such messages in my mail. They are short and understandable to me. I also see new words in them that I can use in my speech and gradually they can move into the active stage of application
Hi Ryan! Airbnb story – good to read. I´m glad that you were lucky with this accomodation. Keys and secret codes are relevant here.
But now.
I´m poor praiser, but today I want to do it.
Somehow unnoticed, one year has passed since I joined Mr.Vig
s School (i.c.Vitamin). This has been a big step in my life. I was quite a beginner in English (no school, no training before that, only self-study).
s story and every evening`s Vitamin and I´m excited to join Mr.Vig´s travel adventures. And now I am here!!! I love being here, I look forward to and enjoy every morning
It´s nice to continue from here. Because:

I will never forgot my trip to Instambul. There wasn’t money, there wasn’t food, but was ,,Airbnb,” and I was young .
The idea of arbnb in Greece started in the 80’s decade in Arachova, a small town near the Parnassos ski centre, where there wasn’t any room to let nor a hotel to book, if someone wanted to go skiing. As the wannabe
skiers interested in staying there, the residents booked their living rooms or any room they had available….
A couple of weeks ago I was in Denmark, in a small town. One evening I went for a walk in the city center: across the square, past the church, along the cemetery wall, past the old people’s home, which was right behind another wall of the cemetery… And I hid in one of the windows. The room was bright, there were a couple of paintings on the walls, it was comfortably furnished, cozy and an older man was sitting at the computer and looking at something in it… I thought so, interesting, probably in this building there are two rooms for each resident, because I didn’t see a bed there…
I don’t like to look .I respect their privacy، and It is very strange to me ;Netherlands people have no curtani!!
