Minimalist.
Do you know that means?
A minimalist is someone who owns few things.
It’s a way to keep life simple.
If you own things, your things can take your time and energy and focus.
And your things can end up owning you.
Interesting idea, right?
I like to think I’m a minimalist.
Afteral, for the last two years and five months I have traveled the world with just one bag.
But in reality, I also own lots of books, which I keep with family in the US, and I own ski boots and sandals, which I keep with friends in Prague.
Is there a word for that?
Part-time minimalist?
Anyway, I’m thinking about this today because once again I’m packing.
My train leaves in the morning.
Where am I off to?
You’ll see.
You are the best! You help us a lot!!!
Thanks for a few new words and for a good idea!
Not a few …there are a lot of new words in the text, thanks!
Perhaps to Baltic countries… have a good time…
I agree 100 percent, but it is not easy today. I am curious about the direction. Have a great trip
I enjoy and learn a lot of with your mails.Have a nice trip Mr.Vig!!!!
I think it is a good idea, but not for everyone because maybe some of the persons are free from serious responsibilities but most of the people have some serious responsibilities which prevent them from choosing this kind of life but in general yes, it’s very good that we have a minimalism life because it facilitate everythings.
I wish You a good trip!I will look forwards to the new stories and new insights!
You’re right, I agree with you.
Hi Ryan!
Glad to hear you’re on way again. I’m looking forward to it. Have a nice trip!
P.S. Minimalism is good. I like it. It makes life easier and free.
HI Ryan !
Very interesting your idea, for men is ok.
But for Ladies îs dificult
I whish You a nice trip to somewhere, maybe
Australia / New Zealand / Japan
Cheers,
Gabriel
Just intersting question… where am I off to…?
I’m a minimalist too. Since the low-cost flights are existing. If you bring a bigger bag you have to pay twice more for the flight.
I think it’s probably
harder for a woman to be a minimalist, than man, but in important issues I am minimalist. Have a nice trip.
All the best!
I Hope you have a good trip!
Hi, Mr Vig!!
Your life sounds very intresting and very impressive, also…
A real adventure!!
Have a good trip!!
We’ll expect your news from other country…
Good morning from Athens…
Rania
I think I’m not very minimalist, I like too much the clothes… Good trip!!
Have a nice time!
Enjoy your new journey.
Once, during the Soviet era, I went to Prague to music festival but instead of taking my luggage, I left the keys in the apartment, I did not live alone, this time my friend was somewhere in the city. There were no mobile phones, so I had to choose: not to be late and take the train to Prague with only my passport and money, or go back home and go the next day … Then I would have lost a lot of money and time.
I decided to be a minimalist and go with only documents and money, but the customs officials didn’t understand that a person can go abroad without belongings, so they started to search the compartment as if I had transported gold or other contraband and hidden it in the most secret places…
Comment: sometimes it’s dangerous to be a minimalist😉
Hello Mr. Vic, nice to meet you… I see that you like to travel, I love it, maybe I’m also a little minimalist, trips teach you… have a good trip, see you later. Cheers. Mr. Pinate
A great, challenging philosophical topic for self-questioning. Cheers!

You are right! But most of the people don’t like to be minimalist. Just everybody wants to own more and more things.
Only one question, why do not settle down?
Mr. Vig, I like your story but I like your English even more.
It’s minimalistic but clear and understandableand. And to me even poetical.
Thank you for your effort and good mood.
