Are you weird?
What’s weird?
You can also say “odd”…
Or “strange”…
Or if you’re really weird (Michael Jackson after 1985), then you can say “bizarre.”
Why do I ask?
I think we’re all a little weird… some times… in some ways…
For example…
It’s a rainy evening in Prague.
It started to get dark around 3pm.
And I like that!
I was in Thailand a few weeks ago, where every day was hot and sunny.
Every day!
(The word for that is monotonous.)
And I DIDN’T like that!
People tell me that’s weird.
Oh well.
What about you?
Cheers,
Mr. Vig
Hah, I’m also weird in this way. I love dark winter days and foggy days are so beautiful!
I don´t like winter very much. Today was 22 degrees of cold and my nose and cheeks were really red but somehow I liked being outside today. It´s wierd!
Hi, we humans are weird in many ways. Above all, we usually look for what we don’t have. Despite everything, I immensely love the beginning of summer, June: the looooong day, the beginning of the heat and the upcoming vacations… even this is strange in its own way.
It is not weird. I agree with you. I think, that world must be varios.
Yes, I’m weird too.
In more ways than one:
I am a person of light, that’s why I don’t like the dark days of this period… Now I would liked to have snow, sun and even frost… Lucky that here, in Romania , we still have 4 more seasons! With everything!
About the other meanings of my strangeness, (perhaps not really “weird”), I have many other manifestations. Sometimes I also wonder at myself…
But do you think there are people who are not sometimes strange?
I don’ t believe it!
Greetings, Mr. Vig!!
HI Ryan !
We are all weird in some way.
It is something specific to the human race.
A rainy night in Georgia
A rainy night in Georgia
Lord, I believe it’s rainin’ all over the world
I feel like it’s rainin’ all over the world
I like different seasons and I cannot imagine living non stop in one place where would be only hot, for me it would be not to bearing, for me the best season it is winter when there is snow and frost
I love so much in this world/ And that can be weird too?
Of course I´m weird. I think not exactli M.Jackson, more like Mr.Bean. And I laugh about it. Laughing about yourself is good. Isn´t it?
And who wants to enjoy beutiful northern winter – welcome to Estonia. It´s just amazing what happening right now. You will feel how the flaffy white snow and frost clears your soul and thougts.
Without any “moving” I´m unhappy. With a lot of “moving” I´m unhappy. You know me ;-). What to do? Keep a balance. We can always ask colleagues, friends, family to fulfill our needs. Sometimes they haven´t time, courage or liking. I seem wired to people because if I don´t find somebody with the same intention I will do what I need myself. Unfortunatelly, it can be said that it´s less pleasant and funny. C´est la vie! I believe. I focus on the present and look forward to the future. Have a great day!
I think, all was I know are normal and accept for me, all was unknown can be weird, odd, strange or bizarre. This words mean for me stages or phases, it depends, how much I know it.
We are different… I don’t like hot days too. May be it depends on tbe place where we were born. And our body knows more than our head… I think so.
Best wishes Mr. Vig
I like variety as a total, as well as in the weather and seasons. I`m happy to enjoy all four seasons in Bulgaria. For a long time, the monotonous literally can destroy the soul that needs excitement and inspiration…
I live in a neighboring country in middle Europe not far from Prague and I am impatiently waiting for more light and longer days. Everything is relativ😜🥴
The same about me. But I really like intermediate seasons like spring or autumn when cloudy and sunny days interchange.
I think, I’m a little weird, sometimes happy others times too much sad
I prefer the hot, sunny days. I love it. When I was there I enjoyed the weather so much. The only annoying thing was the permanent sweating in the rainforest during our walk.
Hi! I don’t like winter very much, but I agree the winter
I think I’m not weird at all, I’m an ordinary person, even happy with the little quirks I can afford, and I thank God for that. It happened to me, and I think not only to me, that our existence abused my balance and normality, rather than my oddities. For this reason, I believe that oddities are saviors, because they belong to us in totality, normality is just a convention to which we all subscribe. I can say that I can sympathize with both. I’m glad that there is a lot of variety in the seasons, although I always have time to write something, I prefer the coldest ones. I can only bear the extreme summer temperatures by thinking about the exotic experiences of some writings,… or even small diary pages 🙂 , very interesting, as I saw here.
Among the last “weirds” 🙂 that I saw again this vacation are Salvador Dali and Picasso, two very interesting exhibitions from Bucharest. And the film Shadow of Caravaggio, superb, I recommend it.
Hi Rian. We are all weird in some way
I agree with you. We’re all a little weird, some times and some ways. But when it’s winter and it rains instead of snow, it’s not a comfortable situation. I also don’t like high temperatures that last for a long time. I like it when it’s warm, green and rainy, but not for too long. Then I like to walk on the grass in the rain barefoot and without umbrella. I also like to look out the window at the falling raindrops. This make me nostalgic. So I guess I’m a little weird too, but it makes the world seem more beautiful.
I am weird, too. I like winter, when it is cold, and foggy and snowy. (I live in Hungary, near Budapest, and we have not often cold winder days, in the last years.) I do not like sunny winter days.
Can you tell me the different mean between weird and queer?
