Yesterday was intense.
Even a little bonkers.
Six hours on a large, powerful machine.
“Riding” is not the right word.
That sounds easy, passive.
“Fighting with it”… that’s better.
Fighting to keep it upright… fighting to keep it from crashing… fighting to keep it from soaring off the side of the mountain… from going into a hole… from hitting large rocks… slipping on the sand… getting stuck in a rut…
After six hours of that, I was exhausted.
And today, everything is sore.
I feel like I was in a great battle.
Like I had a fight with a monster.
And I lost.
In short, I feel like I was beaten up.
But it was fun!
(Was it?)
Cheers,
Mr. Vig
