English has a LOT of acronyms.

ASAP, ALAP, and ATAP – as soon as possible, as late as possible, and as timely as possible.
I never use acronyms, I hate them. LOL
OFU…!!!
Hi,
the use of acronyms instead of whole words reflects people’s laziness and constant haste (my opinion). Or it is simply the result of the excessive use of mobile phones, where mobile operators have forced people to use fewer words when sending SMS (=short message service) because of the cost of SMS (Have you noticed that the number of words in SMS is decreasing every year, but the cost of SMS is increasing?).
BYOB = Bring your own bottle
IDK = I don’t know
Do you know the meaning of RSVP?
I don’t use acronyms. But I know only this F2F – Face to face
VIP. RIP. Everyone knows.
And, finally, what’s the meaning of FYI…?
I dont use acronyms . I know only S.Y (see you), ASAP (as soon as possible)
