I was really looking forward to yesterday.
Prague has some amazing fireworks on January 1.
But not this year.
They were cancelled!
The reason?
Money… war… the economy…
I guess the city government felt it wasn’t a good year to celebrate with fireworks.
But there’s always something to celebrate.
There’s always a reason to be grateful.
And there’s always a reason to be happy.
Look for it, and you’ll find it.
And that’s important for your English, too.
As Shawn Anchor says in his book The Happiness Advantage, ““Your brain at positive is 31% more productive than your brain at negative, neutral or stressed.”
Most people work to be successful and expect happiness to be the result.
But if you start with being happy, you’ll become successful a lot faster.
I hope you got to see some fireworks in your town.
Lucky I was in London, but here in Italy in my town, not a single thing!
I’m happy 😊 because I stay in Netherlands. And I saw 🎆🎇🎆🎇🎆
I am happy to live in Albania and I enjoyed the fireworks on the returning of years.
I don’t like fireworks because I have pets, and it is the worst night for them. But I agree that there are many reasons why we should be grateful and happy.
I won’t quit if I would to speak english better, but now I don’t speak better english than before twoo months. I was reading your e mails that you send to me every day, I like it but I mean I schould more to speak english. Reading english is good, but it is not enough for better english.
It’s all good! Reading… listening… speaking… They all build your skills and they should all be done daily.
